Ladies Football;

At short notice Knocknagoshel GAA club were asked to host Kerry versus Cork in the Ladies National League. Great credit goes to everyone from the club who helped to have everything in order for both teams and the large contingent of supporters who filled the terrace and stand at Willie Walsh Park on Sunday afternoon. On the field the day was with Cork but on a happier note local Kerry star Lorraine Scanlon top scored for St Mary's Basketball leading them to an All-Ireland title in Dublin.


Fixture;

Knocknagoshel  seniors  will play their first game of the season on Sunday February 4th when they face Duagh in the North Kerry league at 2p.m. in Knocknagoshel.  Please come along and support the team. The club will also be entering a B team in competition this year under the stewardship of Eamon Walsh. Any players interested are asked to come along to senior team training which is happening every Wednesday and Friday evening at 8p.m.


Lotto;

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6900 and will be held in The  Village Inn Bar on Saturday 3rd of February. Tickets are available from Kieran's XL, Leahy's Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers. Tickets are also available to purchase online through the Knocknagoshel GAA website www.knocknagoshel.gaa.ie


Operation Tranformation;

A great crowd turned out on Monday evening last for the first of the floodlit walks for Operation Transformation. Every Monday until the 26th February 2018, our clubhouse and pitch will continue to be open and lit up for you, your friends and your family to get together and walk with us, on our guided Operation Transformation Ireland Lights Up 2018 Walk from 7pm-9pm. This event is open to all fitness levels and all age groups so get behind Knocknagoshel GAA Club as we support the nation in this wonderful community initiative to get Ireland moving! Let's Get Ireland Walking


Registration;

Registration for all Underage players will take place on Sunday March 11th at 12.30p.m. in the log cabin. Fees for 2018 are the first child in a family costs €20, the second child costs €15 and subsequent children in a family are free.


Membership;

Membership of Knocknagoshel GAA club is now open for 2018. Membership remains the same price as last year. An ordinary member pays €30 for membership. Senior players pay €50, college students pay €30 while minor players pay €20. Benefits of membership are players are insured to play, ordinary  members can use the track at the field and ordinary members can seek tickets from the club for Kerry games. It's also a great way to show your support of the club. Membership can be paid to club officers between now and Mid-March. It can also be paid online through the club website www.knocknagoshel.gaa.ie.


Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection:

Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes,handbags, curtains & towels.
