U 16 District league .Desmonds defeated Currow by 1-12 to 0-3 in Ccastleisland on Sunday .Scorers for Desmonds were Eamon Nolan 0-5 Padraig o Connell 0-1 David Shanahan 0-3 Darren Maunsell 0-2 Stephen Murphy 0-1 Patrick Horan was the goal scorer.Desmonds next game is away to Ballymac onnext sunday at 12 noon ..
