Castleisland Desmonds 
The blue and white victory banquet was a roaring success last Saturday night .
The River Island Hotel staff were brilliant as was the food .
the room looked amazing thanks to paulette,  mary   and monica.
The M.C. For the evening was Dan Kearney who bowled the audience over with his professional and well- researched  introduction of each of the players as they received their medals .
The guest speaker  was the legendary Eamon Ryan who has led the cork senior ladies to 9 All Ireland s .
He was very enjoyable and presented the Desmonds and Duagh panalists with their medals .
The team management were delighted to receive framed team photos from the players .
A disco by john mccarthy followed where the girls were fonalky able to let their hair down after months of hard work and there were 160 people present to share in the girls success .
a great night was had by all !
