Big Thanks

The Club is very grateful to everybody to everyone who baked a cake or gave their time in the Kitchen for the  recent  Community games event in the hall which was a major success. Without the help of people like this it would not be possible to run a club

 

St. Senans 4-9  Blenerville 7-3

St. Senans Minors were unlucky to lose to Blenerville in their Second Game in the County League. This match was played in very bad conditions and the effort by both teams was very good. Well done to the the following participants representing St Senans in Scor na Bpaisti at the  weekend in the tintean Ballybunion.Ballad Group: Patrick Brosnan Tómas Dillon, Liam Roos, Emma Faley and Erin Healy.Music Group: Patrick Brosnan, David Quinlan, Dervla Cronin, Erin Healy, Clodagh Murphy and Aideen Quinlan Quiz Team: Patrick Brosnan, Tómas Dillon, Dervla Cronin and Erin Healy. Solo Singing: Emma Faley  The Group were successful winning the quiz, well done to all involved

 

 Duagh 0-7 St. Senans 1-7

The senior team played duagh in the first round of the county league on Sunday and were fortunate to get a victory. Duagh were missing Kerry senior  midfielder Anthony Maher and this gave Senans a better chance of  a good result.The difference between the teams was a lucky goal for Senans  in the last 3 minutes and a great save from Owen o Connell in the first half. All players tried hard but big improvement is needed  in the upcoming weeks. Senior Fixtures.

At  home to Asdee in county league next  Sunday, this will be a very difficult match and will be an opportunity to see the Munster Junior Champions soon after their excellent victory.  Play Desmonds on Sunday the 6th April in the North Kerry League in Knocknagoshel  at 12.00

Closing date for membership allowing voting rights at the AGM is the last day in March. membership is available from all officers

Fundraiser.

There was a very good meeting at the clubhouse last Friday night to discuss the upcoming fundraiser in conjunction with Crotta. All ideas and help are more than welcome and there will be another meeting in two weeks time. The fundraiser will be over the course of a weekend in May and there will also be some free activities and entertainment for children. There is a program being produced for the weekend and advertisements can be placed in it.

Coaching.

There   are a number of  club members currently participating in a foundation Level coaching course which Is being held in the clubhouse.  Anyone interested in this please contact Michael Lynch.
