An under-strength senior team yielded to the challenge of Austin Stacks B on Saturday evening in the last round of the County League, Division 4. We came up short on a score line of 2-14 to 4-14. A rather disappointing end to the league as we finished ninth on the table, with four wins and seven defeats from eleven games.

After 3 wins on the bounce earlier in the campaign, the wheels came off the wagon in more recent weeks. We now face a relegation play-off with Scartaglin, who are level with us on eight points.

Tarbert are our opponents in the opening match of Group 3 of the County Junior Club Championship. We are awaiting details of the date and venue.

Beale juniors are scheduled to play Tarbert on Thursday evening in Division 4A of the North Kerry League in Ballybunion at 7.30. We await details of our game against Moyvane. Our final round game is against Clounmacon. 

North Kerry U-21s are through to the final of the County Championship, following a great win over Kenmare District on Monday evening. The final score was 3-13 to 0-7.We look forward to a thrilling encounter when North Kerry take on East Kerry in the final on Friday, July 22nd.

The winning numbers drawn in this week's Beale Lotto on Monday night were 8, 11, 16 and 18. There was no jackpot winner and two Match-3 winners, Helen O’Connell and John Brennan, who win €50 each.
