Annual Club Draw

Our Annual draw will take place again for 2020/21, with €8,500 worth of Prizes, each month. An annual ticket costs €60 for 12 monthly draws which equates to , €5 per month, tickets can be purchased from a committee member or now available quickly online and easily through our website https://listowelemmetsgaa.com . Congratulations to Feale Rangers on reaching the Quarter Final of the Senior County Championship after an impressive win over South Kerry in Frank Sheehy Park on Sunday last. Conor O’Keeffe took a well taken goal and points from Martin Stack saw Feale Rangers lead 1-6 to 0-7 at half time and from there on Feale Rangers never looked back kicking 1-02 early on to settle the matter, goal coming from a lovely move from Sean Keane seeing Davy Keane hit the back of the net. Full Time score Feale Rangers 2-13 South Kerry 0-13. Scorers: M Stack (0-7, 5f, 1m), D Keane (1-3, 1f), C O’Keeffe (1-0), N Collins, B Mahony and S Keane (0-1 each). Best wishes to Sean T Dillon who picked up a bad ankle injury in the closing ten minutes of the game. Feale Rangers meet with Templenoe in the final round which will decide who goes in as winners of the group. Best wishes to John James and team and all those involved from Emmets.

 

Results & Fixtures

Minor County Club Championship Final – Group B Emmets 3-10 Spa 0-10.

The first half was a pretty even contest with both sides exchanging scores in the opening minutes. Emmets struggled at times to get shots on target with Spa edge ding in front, Eddie Healy found the net for the first Emmets goal on the 19th minute as Timothy Moynihan and Aaron Carey swapped scores. Spa finished strong with further scores to leave it tied on the small whistle. On the resumption Emmets showed their class and quick points from Sweeney and Carey followed with Sweeney taking Emmets second goal on the 42nd minute. Aaron Kennelly began to dominate at midfield and found his forwards with ease as Aaron Carey found the back of the net. Terence Houlihan of the County Board presented winning shield to Thomas Kelly. Emmets Scores: Aaron Carey (1-6), Conor Sweeney (1-2), Eddie Healy (1-0), Rob Heffernan (0-2). This was a good all round team performance and huge credit goes to Mike Kennelly, John Hartnett, Sean Carey, Noel Kennelly and Edward McCarthy for their work with the team.
