Split the Bucket; congratulations to Liam O’Hanlon, Asdee who was the lucky winner of €600 which he picked up in our Split the Bucket draw last Tuesday night. The winning ticket was sold in MJ Carroll’s The Square Listowel, next draw is Tuesday 19th April, sincere thanks to everyone for their support and to all the business who allow us leave buckets in their premises.

While Scheffler claimed his first Masters title in style, the strong finish by Irish duo McIlroy and Lowry caused a shakeup of the Emmets Tipster Leader Board.

The final results are in and where there was a tie on points, the first selected golfer decided the placed contestant.

The €300 First Prize Winner is Dr. Olive Pierse,-25 ( who with some advice from her grandson Ciaran) picked the dream team of McIlroy, Scheffler, Zalatoris and Smith.

The €100 Second Prize Winner  is our local sports presenter Joe Stack -23 who selected Scheffler, Lowry, Smith and Conners.

The €50 Third Prize Winner is Emmets stalwart Tommy Sweeney -18 with his team of Smith, Scheffler, Na and Lowry.

Training times for all teams have now being issued for all teams and remind everyone that new members are always welcome

U11's commence training on Thursday evenings at 5.30 in the Boy’s school field.

U13 training takes a break for the Easter holidays week and will resume the following week

U15 County League Round 2 Emmets A 3-07 Cordal 2-06 we won a very hard fought game last Wednesday night against a strong Cordal team. The weather conditions were very difficult and made good football hard to play. Strong team performance with great displays from Trevin Chute. Tristan Barry, Oisin Mulvihill, Adam Heffernan and Daniel Shine with Jake Galvin’s tackle living long in the memory, well done boys.
