Annual General Meeting, The 33rd Annual General Meeting of St.Marys Asdee GAA Club took
place at the Community Centre on Saturday evening last January 12th that saw agood sized attendance. Prior to the meeting getting underway there was aminutes silence observed for deceased Cultural Officer and former Club selectorMattie Quinn and all who suffered bereavements during the year gone by.Chairman, Sean Doran welcomed all to the meeting and thanked everybody fortheir wonderful support once again during the year past with a special mentionto our many sponsors and especially Jerry and Claire O Mahony, of BrandonProducts, Kilcolman. Secretary, Mark Hanlon gave a detailed account of theClubs activities on and off the field during the year;

 Hewent on to state that It was a busy year for the Club yet again having teams inall competition in North Kerry and in the County competitions with Seniors,Minors, Under 21s,Coiste Na Nog, Cumbann Na Bun Scoil and local Blitzs; it wasa very successful year on the field of play despite having not won anysilverware as the Seniors were in the playoff for promotion in the CountyLeague, pipped at the post for a place in the North Senior Football Championshipquarter finals by Finuge along with representation at all levels with ShannonRangers. Off the field the Scor Sinsear Novelty Act group reached the MunsterFinals for the second year in a row. Treasurer John Joe O Carrolls  report, outlined the Clubs Finance. and urgedthe club members to get more involved in fundraising. .The following officerswere elected: Patron Fr. Padraig Kennelly, President John Doran, (Senior),Chairman Sean Doran, Vice Chairman John Kennedy, Secretary Mark O Hanlon,Assistant Secretary Kathleen Carmody, Treasurer John Joe O Carroll, AssistantTreasurers Tom O Sullivan and Ivan Tydings. Registrar Kevin Mulvihill, ScorOfficer Kathleen Carmody, Development and Safety Gerdie O Carroll,Children Welfare Officer Aine Kennedy, Alcohol and Substance Abuse OfficerKathleen Carmody, Coaching Officer John Kennedy ,P. R. O. Jack Hennessy,Delegates County Board Oliver Kearney, North Kerry  Mark O Hanlon and Patsy Coughlan, Senior TeamManagement Team Trainer, John Kennedy, Selectors; Dan Dalton, Sean Doran,MikeEnright.

MEMBERSHIP. Membership of the Club is now open so anybodywho would like to take out membership can do so by contacting  ClubRegistrar,Kevin Mulvihill,. Adults E20, Seniorf Citizens and Under Age E10. Itis important to note that Membership of the Club will close on Sunday March 31st and this will be strictly adhered to. Only fullypaid up members will be in line for any match tickets that the Club may aquire.

Scor. The CountyFinal of Coiste Scor Chiarrai  Quiz willtake place in the Centre of excellence, Currow on this Friday  January 8th commencing at 7pm.Local Club will be taking part. Outright winners on the night will go directlythrough  to the All Ireland Finals inCastlebar on Saturday February 23rd.

North Kerry Board.The North Kerry Football Board will hold their Annual General Meeting onTuesday January 22nd and will take place at “Christys The Well Bar”with a starting time of 8pm. Local Club will have their delegates inattendance.
