Beale GAA   16/01/2019

Teams are back training for the football season ahead. We await details of fixtures for the County and North Kerry leagues. Management structures are being put in place, with John Farrell and Mike O’Connell at the helm of the junior squad for another year.

Beale GAA are linking in with Get Ireland Walking, beginning on Thursday evening, in organising a 5km walk around the beaches and streets of Ballybunion. The GAA, in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation, is seeking to bring together communities across the 32 counties to enjoy healthy walks in the safe, bright, environs of their GAA club. Beale GAA are delighted to be involved in this initiative.

Each Thursday, for the next six weeks, everyone is welcome to get together at our pitch to walk off the Xmas excess, catch up with friends and neighbours and banish the winter blues.

Come along and register at Páirc de Staic, Sandhill Road, on Thursday at 6.30. Walk starts at 7 o’clock. Ensure you have proper walking shoes and a hi-viz jacket. In the interest of safety, we regret dogs are not allowed. See you then!
