Come Dine With Emmets 

What an unbelievable night last Saturday was! Almost 30 host's from around Listowel opened their homes to their guests, with each experiencing the best of culinary arts! Well done to everyone that hosted and put in a huge effort on the day and in preparation over the last few weeks. Fitzpatrick's put on an excellent bus service for everyone and collected guests to bring them to the hotel where everyone danced the night away. Thanks to all the local business who contributed with vouchers, hampers, tables, chairs, pots and pans and other catering equipment. To everyone that attended a host house for dinner and to the Listowel Arms Hotel for hosting our after party, thanks very much. Finally to our fabulous Come Dine With Emmets organising committee - Karena Buckley, Michelle O' Connell, Sean Hennelly, Sarah Moriarty, Breda Barry, Breda McVeigh and Orla Keane thank you all for your hard work over the past few months and for organising a super night for our club. At the end of the day it's all about the community. Well done all!

41 Card  Drive - Bus Service
Our 41 Card Drive has resumed and takes place every Wednesday night at 9pm in the Clubhouse. In association with Local Link, we are currently exploring the idea of running a bus service to and from the cards but this will only happen if we can get the numbers for it. If you are interested please contact Breda on 087 9386370 or Brendan on 087 9254928 on or before November 25th.

Dancing

Weekly dancing continues at the clubhouse every Monday evening from 6.30pm. Please contact Monty Boyd if you are interested in taking part.

Scór na nÓg

Listowel Emmets would like to participate in this years Scór na nÓg competitions. Participants must be under 17 on 1st Jan 2019. Initially we would like to invite competitors in singing, recitation or instrumental music however if there are figure dancing groups/set dancing groups or ballad groups who would like to compete please let us know. Anyone interested in taking part must contact Karena Buckley on 087 2035865.

Club Draw   
We have recently launched our annual Club Draw worth €10,000 and tickets are now on sale from club officers with €850 worth of prizes up for grabs each month. Proceeds from the draw go towards the running costs and future development of the club so your support is greatly appreciated .

AGM

Listowel Emmets will hold our AGM in the clubhouse on Thursday, December 6th at 7.30pm. All motions and nominations to be with the secretary Norah Browne before 5pm, Friday November 30th.
