Beale juniors opened their account in Division 3 of the North Kerry League, with a good win over Emmetts. Played in ideal Spring conditions in Listowel on Tuesday evening, the result was never really in doubt and we ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 2-17 to 0-10. We host Tarbert on Tuesday in Páirc de Staic at 6.45pm and the following week we travel to Moyvane for a 7 o’clock throw-in. Our last round game will be against Ballydonoghue in Coolard on April 17th at 7 o’clock.

Our County Junior Championship game against Ballylongford which was due to be played on Easter Saturday was cancelled. We play Tousist on Sunday in Cordal at 2.30pm. Our last round game is scheduled for the weekend of April 14th when we welcome Duagh to Ballybunion.

Beale minors host Kilcummin to Páirc de Staic on Friday, April 13th, at 6.30pm, in the County League, Division 4. Our final round game will be against St Pat’s on April 20th in Blennerville at 6.30pm.

We host Skellig Rangers on April 22nd in the County Senior League, Division 4, in Pâirc de Staic and have 2 games in May. We travel to Cordal on May 13th and host Castlegregory in Pâirc de Staic on May 27th.

The excitement is building with final rehearsals for the County semi-final of Scór na bPâistí, which takes place in Moyvane on Saturday. Young storyteller, Than Creed, and set dancers, Síne Fogarty, Odhran Buckley, Orla O'Mahony, Than Creed, Lucy Prendergaast, Aoibheann Buckley, Audrey Ryan and Ronan Hennessy, have been put through their paces by their mentors and eagerly await the big day.
