Knocknagoshel GAA   05/03/2018

Lotto;

Due to the  adverse weather last weekend the lotto draw was postponed by a week in the interests of safety. The draw will be for a jackpot of €7000 and will now be held in Moynihan's Bar, Headleysbridge on this Saturday March 10th at 10p.m. Tickets are available from Kieran's XL, Leahy's Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers.

St. Patrick's Day Parade;

All children walking in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Castleisland will meet in the mart yard (via the An Riocht entrance) between 12-12:15, the parade begins at 12:30.  We would encourage everyone young and old to wear our club colours.

Fixtures and Results;

Storm Emma put a stop to all GAA fixtures last weekend and the first county minor  league fixture for Knock/Brosna/Duagh fell victim to the weather as a result. There will inevitably be a backlog of fixtures as a result of these  postponements. Fixtures going ahead this weekend include Knocknagoshel seniors opening game in Division 5 of this year's county league away to Asdee at 12.30p.m. on Sunday March 11th. The rescheduled Corn Uí Mhuirí final goes ahead this Saturday at 1p.m. in Fitzgerald Stadium. We wish John Walsh and his CBS team well in this final.

Knocknagoshel GAA will host the Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps on the week of July 23rd to 27th. The gear for the kids participating can be viewed online on Knocknagoshel GAA facebook page.
