Annual General Meeting, The 32th Annual General Meeting of St. Marys Asdee GAA Club took
place at the Community Centre on Saturday evening last January27th that saw a good sized crowd in attendance with two change in Officership from the previous year as long serving Jack Hennessy stepped down from his position of PRO and Chairman Padriag Vallely also stepped down from his position.

Prior to the meeting getting underway there was a minutes silence observed for deceased Vice President Joe Gorman and all who suffered bereavements during the year gone by. Chairman, Padraig Vallelly welcomed all to the meeting and thanked everybody for their wonderful support once again during the year past with a special mention to our many sponsors too numerous to mention who came on board. Shannon Ranger, the Shannon Rangers GAA Club will hold their Annual General Meeting at “The Thatch Bar” Lisselton on this Thursday February 1st commencing at 8.30pm. All representatives from the 6 Clubs, Beale, Ballylongford, Asdee, Tarbert, Ballyduff and Ballydonoghue will be represented

Golden Goal, Our very popular Club Fundraiser “The Golden Goal” got underway on Sunday 28th of January with a deferred showing of the Kerry v Donegal. Week 1 winner of the Golden Goal was Mike O Connell, Beale. Next week game will be on Saturday 3rd of February deferred showing of the Kerry v Mayo on Eir Sport
