Beale minors contest the final of the North Kerry Championship, Division 2, against  Ballyduff/Duagh on Sunday next in Coolard at 1 o'clock. A sun-drenched Ballylongford was the venue for the semi-final against old rivals, Ballydonoghue, last Sunday as Beale got off to the better start and led the game from the throw-in. A highly entertaining game ensued with excellent football played by both sides and Beale led by seven points at the short whistle, 3-8 to 1-7. Ballydonoghue brought back the lead to two points in the second half but Beale dug deep and pulled away running out winners, 4-13 to 2-15. 


Beale lined out as: Gavin Casey, Diarmuid O Mahony, Fionnán Toomey, Darragh Kissane, Jack O'Sullivan, David Hennessy,Tommy O'Neill, Pádraig Holly, Seán Maloney, Eric Daly, Callum McSweeney, Bernard O'Callaghan and Luke O'Donovan. Substitutes: Jordan O'Rourke for Tommy O'Neill(inj), Barry O' Neill for Bernard O'Callaghan, Conor Toomey for Luke O'Donovan and Conor Breen. 


A busy schedule for our juniors as we play Ballymacelligott in the quarter final of the Cahill Cup on Saturday at 5 o'clock in Ballymacelligott. Then we play Ballyduff in the semi-final of the North Kerry Junior Championdhip on Saturday, October 7th, in Coolard at 3.30pm.


Beale seniors host last year's champions, St Senans, in the opening round of the North Kerry Championship on Sunday, October 15th, at 2.30 in Páirc de Staic, We join forces again this year with Ballylongford and Asdee for the Under-21 Championship and have been drawn to play St Senans in the quarter final. Date and venue to be confirmed.
