Beale minors came up short in the final of the North Kerry League, Division 2, against Moyvane/Tarbert. Our opponents settled in to the game much better and we found it difficult to get off the mark. However we turned on the style in the second half but by this time, Moyvane/Tarbert had put their mark on the game. 


Beale team: Gavin Casey, Darragh Kissane, Diarmuid O'Mahony, Fintan Linnane, Jack O'Sullivan, Tommy O'Neill, Pádraig Fionnán  Toomey Holly, Bernard O'Callaghan, Seán Maloney, Aaron Kelly and Luke O'Donovan. Substitutes: Eric Daly, Josh O'Rourke, Barry O'Neill, Conor Toomey and Dara Finn. 


Beale juniors were crowned North Kerry victors when they defeated Ballyduff in the final of the North Kerry League, Division 4. We got off to a great start and went into the interval leading by 1-7 to 0-1. A goal early in the second half set us up for victory and the final score read 2-11 to 0-3. Callum McSweeney was awarded "man of the match", which was sponsored by Brendan Meehan of The Ocean Bar and Hostel, Ballybunion.

Beale juniors contest the opening round of the Cahill Cup on Monday (Aug 21st) evening against Brosna in Páirc de Staic, Ballybunion, at 7.30. 


Hopes of staying in Division 4 of the County League are kept alive with Beale seniors' recent comprehensive win over Firies. Ballybunion is the venue again for our final round game against Sneem/Derrynane on September 24th. A date for the quarter final of the County Novice Club Championship against Moyvane has yet to be decided. 


Beale seniors take on St Senans in the North Kerry Championship. Our juniors received a bye in the first round and our minors take on Knocknagoshel/Brosna in the opening round. Beale join forces again this year with Ballylongford and Asdee for the North Kerry Under-21 Championship. We have been drawn to play St Senans in the quarter final. Date and venue to be confirmed.
