GAA Lotto : There was no winner of last week’s lotto draw. The numbers drawn were 3, 6, 8 and 15. Lucky Dip winners were Ciara Carmody, Michael Hennessy, Caroline McLouhjlin, Nora Kennelly, Timmy Lynch, PJ Normile. Next week’s draw takes place in the Chinese Restaurant with a jackpot of €2,100. Thanks to all those who continue to support the Lotto.

Juniors : Tarbert juniors take on Arfert in Tarbert next Friday evening at 7:30 in the Junior County League.

Seniors : Our seniors suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of a fit and youthful Dr. Crokes B team played in Shannon Park last Sunday. Crokes got off to a great start and were up 1-2 to no score before a great run from Shane O’Connor rattled the Crokes net. This was the only reprieve Tarbert got as Crokes dominated all sectors to lead at half time by 1-10 to 1-2. Tarbert got off to a terrible start to the second half with Crokes getting a goal straight from the throw in. The second half was all Crokes again and they ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 1-5 to 3-15. While Tarbert were missing a number of players for this game the manner of the defeat was disappointing. Our next game is away to Renard which is a must win for both clubs in order to avoid relegation.

The U-12 team gave another good performance last Sunday night where they defeated Na Gaeil on a scoreline of 5-10 to 2-4.
