Listowel Emmets 4.16 - Moyvane/Tarbert 2.11

This was a game that Emmets never looked like losing and playing at home seemed to suit. With scores coming from all over the pitch in the first half Emmets scored 1.08 with corner forward David Keane scoring 1.03. But the only danger man for the combination side was Tarberts Andrew Doherty who sored 1.05 of the sides 1.06 the only other scorer was wingforward Joe Coulson. But this is were it all went wrong for the visitors, Emmets were on the board first with a goal in the 2nd minute from the boot of Ricky Hanley who went on to score four more points in the half. Again in the 3rd minute corner forward Derek Dillion Emmets split the posts , Dillion again went on to score 1.01. It took until the 10th minute for Moyvane/Tarbert to get on the board with a free from sub Fionn McGibney in the with another point and a concession goal from corner back Eammon OFlaherty.
