GLENFLESK 1-13           ST PATS 0-14

 

St Pats travelled to Glenflesk on Saturday evening, badly in need of two points but Glenflesk, inspired by Darragh Roche with 1-07 (1 pen, 2f), and Padraig Healy who was magnificent at midfield, who gained another two points.   The opening half was an even contest, but Glenflesk were more economical in front of goal and held a two point lead at half time.

 

The second half continued in the same vein with Darragh Roche keeping Glenflesk in front with some fine scores and David O Callaghan(0-02) keeping St Pats in touch.  The pivotal score came in the 25^th minute when Jeff O Donoghue, with a driving run from midfield, got pulled down inside the square and Darragh Roche put away the resulting penalty.
